Did they guess the password? Or did they use some official means to acquire an ‘inactive’ account (if that’s possible on Twitter, I don’t know).DisgruntledGoathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988822002396632417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4588205362847565197.post-24475364980550262802018-10-18T20:22:12.536+01:002018-10-18T20:22:12.536+01:00The language pics it's posting aren't even...The language pics it's posting aren't even all correct. The dance one for instance. The Italian it gives it Danza, and the German is Tanzen. Both mean dance, but not the same dance. Danza is a noun, as in "a dance". Tanzen is a verb, like "I will dance". So that's misleading.<br /><br />Of course I'm sure they have no interest in actually conveying accurate language information so a quick trip to Google Translate is all they need, correct or not.Jack Sharpehttp://twitter.com/howling_snailnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4588205362847565197.post-924531432335737952018-10-18T12:09:01.113+01:002018-10-18T12:09:01.113+01:00You'd think the people who brought us "sc...You'd think the people who brought us "schadenfreude" would've had this one licked but you'd be mistaken. There's no German word for "humblebrag", just disagreement over possible substitutes. The only consensus is that the loanword isn't quite as bad as the literal translation, which is what the three big dictionaries (Duden, PONS, & Collins) all suggest. <br /><br />"Demütigungsprahlen", "Bescheidenheitsprahlen"... either way it's six syllables of soditall.M Lees-Grossmannnoreply@blogger.com
