It wasn't all that fast in truth... but the very low light meant I could use a long exposure on the camera so it really looks like it's whizzing along. The reality was more of a trundle.
I was there in August and got to visit the cable car museum. It was quite interesting to see all the different cables whizzing round and hear the giant machines that are a testament to British ingenuity! I love it when something that defines an American city was invented by a Englishman!
