London & New York

There are just four shows left for this year. From Tuesday to Friday (16th - 19th December) we'll be at the Southbank Centre (tickets). Then I'll be wrapping up warm and hibernating over Christmas.

In February we'll start work on series three of Modern Life Is Goodish - it should be on your screen around September. (So long as you choose the right channel at the appropriate time. I mean, it'll definitely be on some screens - it's really up to you to choose whether or not yours is one of them.)

But - you might have spotted that this leaves a bit of a break in my schedule in January.  Only it doesn't. Because I'm going to be returning to New York for a short run of Dave Gorman's Powerpoint Presentation.

I've done two other runs in New York. On both occasions I went out for 6 weeks and ended up staying for 3 months as the runs were extended... that's not really an option this time so I'll be doing just 12 shows between January 20 and 31st at a fantastic venue called Subculture. Tickets go on sale later today. From noon. (New York time)

That's a photo of the National Theatre not the Southbank Centre. The South Bank comprises the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Purcell Rooms and the Hayward Gallery. The National Theatre is a separate entity altogether.

@Anonymous: I know. It's not a photo of Subculture in New York either.

Dave, I know this is random....I've had an unpleasant email run in with the OWNER of a northern food company who actually signed his email w/his name and "OWNER" after wiping the floor (and his backside as well) with AMERICANS and implying that I must be an alcoholic because me email was sent at 12.38 am!!!??. He is very angry, it seems, because, as a customer, I a) provided informed feedback about how salty one of his company's products was and b) I'm American (oh, he hates Americans for sure!) So...I'd just LOVE to see his name in print, along with his comments, which so ridiculously illogical, they are funny. Even MORE, I've love for them to be in one of your wonderful powerpoint presentations. What an appalling example of customer service!! I'll be happy to forward his email to you if you tell me where to sent them !! Happy New Year, D Tremblin
