... I don't hate Apple. I do however hate it when my computer (it's a desktop I was talking about not a laptop) dies at what is categorically the most inconvenient and expensive moment it could choose to do so.
And I obviously know in reality that it didn't actually choose to do so.
I thought these facts were obvious. But apparently some people need me to point them out and to only ever rant about things that are actually unfair and to never, ever, just be angry because a small slither of life went the wrong way costing me lots of actual spending money. Grrr at me for being grrrr at Apple.
The next time I see someone being angry at the side of the road because their car has broken down I will be sure to tell them not to be angry and that they are being irrational because their car has always been good to them. It's a nice car. Presumably.
Phew. I hope that's sorted that out.

Dave if when you see someone stopped at the side of the road and it perhaps a motorway then please do not stop to tell them not to be angry. Just in case you didn't know it's an offence to do so unless it's an emergency.
I hope that's sorted now
;)
I find it much easier to hate everything. Equal opportunity hate. When my PC collapses like an emphysemic badger (as it did this weekend) I hate it, but I'll never switch to Apple because I know I'd only end up hating them too.
Admittedly this is a stupid way to live, which is why I hate myself.
Surely you must know by now that it's not Apple's fault. You just didn't believe hard enough.
I wouldn't worry too much about the car, as long as it isn't made my Apple. Didn't you know that Apple are special and no one is allowed to criticise them. Mr Jobs will be sending the boys around presently.
I'm amused that in 14 hours this entry has garnered just four comments as opposed to the previous one which gained four comments in just 13 minutes.
It's akin to the page-37 retraction printed in the tabloid the day-after they loose the libel case (not directed at your blog entry, Dave, but at the lack of sexyness in the rational, I-don't-hate-Apple-really blog).
BTW I'm waiting with anticipation for your nobody could hate pneumatic tyres more than I do at the moment tweet. Actually I think there's a book for which day the inevitable happens running on betfair.com.
I felt bad that you started getting bashed in your comments. I did an Apple hate blog post a few months ago, too. It's your blog, you needed to vent, have at it. :)
@Tina Mammoser: I didn't feel bad. I didn't feel particularly bashed either. I just felt amused at the inability of some people to read between the lines or to subtract emotion from fact for themselves. Each to their own.
Relax, take a deep breath. Go out for a bike ride along the River Lea, clear your head. Being angry hurts no one but yourself. (No, I am not a hippy.) x
good luck on t'bike ride. get lots of sudocrem, it was a life-saver on the end-to-end that i supported last year. looking forward to seeing you in salford, if you haven't been kidnapped by appleites before then.
