@Martin: If you listen closely, I think you can hear me saying exactly that after the third dart lands.

@Mazza: You're right. But that's because I just rested the camera on the window ledge behind me. I wasn't trying to film anything beautifully.

TOP DARTS! How many hours of film did you make?

(and do you, by any chance, have a very short friend who requires a stepladder to recover their arrows?)

@Scottish Nature Boy: well, while I might take days or weeks between 180s I genuinely don't have a lot of useless video of me playing. A couple of nights ago I set the camera up on the window ledge and scored a 180 within 30 or 40 mins. Only when I moved the camera to the board the board didn't remain in shot so I knew it wasn't worth posting without loads of people crying fake.

Set it up again last night and got one within 20 to 30 mins.

I've played a fair amount since then without coming close.

Maybe I should film more often.

@Dave: "I knew it wasn't worth posting without loads of people crying fake" - people are so untrusting, aren't they?

So are you suggesting some quantum effect, with the observing camera affecting the outcome of the experiment? That would be interesting! Maybe you could accelerate your darts around the Large Hadron Collider to see if the quantum effect shows up. Maybe Prof Cox could set that up for you?

Actually, no - that's just silly. It's gone too far.

sounds like you had some vuvuzelas in the background to cheer you on and get that heart pumping atmosphere.

Finally something of sporting note to cheer about after the dreadful shower (England) yesterday. Get in, good darts, great arrows - its all thats needed.
