Day 5

No time to upload anything today... it's been a day of triumph over adversity that has eaten up more time than normal as a result.

Blow out on my rear tyre - inner tube and tyre shredded and rear wheel ruined - but - with the aid of a spare bike, the ride was completed. I had a great guide and a lovely gig to top it off. Bosting.

I thought I'd left a comment yesterday but bloody lost it. I once cycled from Italy to Spain and up Mont Ventoux. That was 15 years ago and I still bore people with it. But I didn't do a show every night as well. Respect. That's what I really wanted to say, having just wasted all day yesterday on Google. When might you pop in to the Electric Palace at Bridport?

Just booked tickets for your King's Lynn date next week. Taking my 13 year old son, Rory, who is a big fan. Actually you have been a godsend to us lately - number one son was getting "bored" with reading and sick of me badgering him about it. So I found "Are you Dave Gorman?" in the library and he loved it. I'm sure his English compositions will be much improved, especially as he is now reading about your USA trip. Thank you! See you Wednesday night: maybe some of your stand-up routine will work its way into his next essay!?

PS Unless you have already discovered it (in which case sorry), dont cycle over catseyes with the rubbery bit when its just been raining unless you want a face full of muddy roadwash rainwater.

I only just found out about your tour and bikey challenge (2 tots under 4 = out of touch with Gorman-ness) and the Cambridge gig is sold out! Boo. Best of luck. Hope you don't get biker's nostril

Hi Dave!
Came to see you in Swindon last night (I was in the centre of the third row)
I hope I don't give away too much for any future audiences, but I couldn't believe how many props you must have to squeeze into your back-pack....
The juggling batons, a uni-cycle, a piano, a massive steel elephant, an inflatable ringmaster ... oh wait, sorry, I'm getting mixed up with the time I went to see Take That in Cardiff ...
Thanks for making me laugh - I hope I've reciprocated in a tiny way
xx

Was hoping to follow your progress via the uploads, so a shame you haven't had time to do it. Perhaps your tour manager could, and even send the odd tweet if you dictate them to him?
